Chamber Schedules a Family Barbecue Fundraiser

Jess Jones Vineyard is Site for First Time Event

Trading their annual Golf Fundriaser for a more family-oriented event, the Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Family Fun Day BBQ at Jess Jones Vineyard on Saturday August 18, 3 - 9 pm. If rootbeer floats, snow cones, and barbecue ribs sound good to you, this event sounds like a great plan.

"We think this be a lot of fun for the whole family it will be much more affordable," said Carol Pruett, Chamber Chief Administrator. There will be a barbecue dinner of chicken or ribs, live music, many kids’ games, including horse shoes, face painting, a water slide, bounce house & more.

"Just like the golf tournament with hole sponsorship, we will offer table sponsorships for businesses to advertise your business at a very reasonable rate--$50.00 Interactive Table Sponsorship," Pruett said. The Chamber is taking table reservations now and also gathering raffle prizes. All table sponsors & donation providers will be included in our flyer distributed at the event.

This event will benefit the Dixon Chamber and Dixon Community in many ways, members report, such as the college scholarship, assisting the financial support needed to host the historic Annual Dixon May Fair Parade, and much more.
