Hunter Safety for Kids: Two Courses at Dixon Game Club This Summer

Pheasant, duck and turkey hunting seasons are just around the corner. The Dixon Game Club is offering a couple of safety classes for kids.

Interested in getting your hunting license or introducing your kids to guns and hunter safety? 

The Dixon Game Club will host two Department of Fish & Game approved Hunter Safety classes. The first class dates are Sept. 11-13 from 6-9 p.m. and Sept. 15 from 8 a.m. until noon. Students should be 10 years or older to attend.

The second option is a home-study course, students must attend one class Sept. 26, 5-9 p.m. The home study course is available to students 13 years or older.

Students must attend all dates and times listed. Cost for the class is $10, and will be held at the , 250 West Mayes Street.
