Two Teens Busted for Allegedly Wrecking Skate & Sports Parks in Cordelia Area

The Fairfield pair, 17 and 18, locked up on suspicion of felony vandalism charges.

Fairfield police have arrested two teens for dozens of vandalism incidents in the Cordelia area last month.

The vandalism to city of Fairfield property, street signs, electrical boxes, landscaping, the Cordelia Skate Park and Cordelia Tri Valley Little League Parks caused thousands of dollars in damage, Lt. Stephen Crane said.

The incidents happened in the Lopes and Gold Hill roads and Oakbrook Drive areas, Crane said.

The Fairfield Police Department's Special Operations Team identified two suspects, a 17-year-old juvenile and 18-year-old Braise Young, both of Fairfield, Crane said.

Young was booked into Solano County Jail and the juvenile into juvenile hall on suspicion of felony vandalism, police said.
