Passenger Succumbs to Injuries; Three Dead From Sunday Crash

Two from Vacaville, One from Corning Die; Two Dixonites Injured

Two people from Vacaville and one from Corning have been identified as fatalities of yesterday’s crash at Porter and Pitt School Roads in Dixon.

The CHP reports that  Tracy Lynne Sabados, 19, of Corning was the driver of a 1996 Chrysler sedan that failed to stop. Sabados and her passenger, Angelina Christina De Los Reyes, 17, of Vacaville died at the scene. Billy Esteben Jaimes, 23, also from Vacaville, was a passenger in the back seat who succumbed to injuries after he was life flighted to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.

The two people in the 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck involved in the collision were from Dixon. Denver Karlisle Havlin and his fiancé, Jillian Marie Soderstrom, both 26, sustained injuries. Soderstrom received minor injuries to include lacerations to the right thumb, left shoulder, and right knee.

Havlin, who was the passenger, sustained minor injuries to include laceration to his head, left hand, and pain to entire body.

Both vehicles were driving an estimated 55 miles per hour according to the CHP. The Chrysler sedan was on Pitt School Road northbound and approaching the intersection at Porter Road. The Chevy pick up was on Porter Road approaching the intersection of Pitt School Road.

According to the CHP, the driver failed to stop at the stop sign that controls the intersection of Pitt School and Porter Roads. The Chevy pick up also overturned and came to rest on the dirt should at the north west corner of the intersection facing in a northerly direction on its side.

The accident is still being investigated and there is no comment if drugs or alcohol played a role.
