The Dixon Police Department shared this old photo on their Facebook page Thursday. We thought it was pretty cool, so we wanted to pass it along. There will be a full feature with many more photos in this Sunday's Dixon Tribune, so make sure to pick up a copy! 

Retired Dixon Police Officer Ralph “Radar” Bareford visited the Dixon Police Department today to see the new display of historical photographs he donated to the Dixon Police Department. As part of his visit he was shown the modern radar units utilized by Dixon P.D. The Dixon Police Department would like to thank Mr. Bareford for his photo's which will help preserve the history of the Police Department. The Dixon Tribune will be running a feature story about his visit in their Sunday edition be sure not to miss is.
