Charges Dismissed Against Dixon Woman Accused of Domestic Violence

The Solano County District Attorney has dropped the charges against a Dixon woman who was being accused of domestic voilence, assault with a deadly weapon.

On the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 21, Dixon Police officers went to the home of Brandi N. Downey, 29, on the 400 block of La Esperanza Drive in response to report of a

Police said that Downey was involved in an argument with her husband and had allegedly threatened her husband with a loaded shotgun. But as the case was heard through Solano Courts, the District Attorney requested a dismissal of the case on March 23, 2012. The Solano County Superior Court dismissed the case on March 28.
