Breaking: Major Accident Reported Along Highway 80 at Midway Road
A rollover crash along Highway 80 is clogging up traffic along the highway beginning in Elmira.
Dixon emergency crews are working a traffic accident reported along eastbound Highway 80 at Midway Road.
Initial reports indicate that two vehicles are involved and at least one rolled over during the accident. A total of seven patients were reportedly injured, with two of them being transported to Vaca Valley Hospital and another two being transported to Vacaville Kaiser Permanente.
The accident was reported at 10:08 a.m. The California Highway Patrol has arrived on the scene to investigate the cause of the crash. Crews are also searching for a dog that was riding in one of the vehicles that ran off into an orchard adjacent to the highway. The dog is a golden retriever, black labrador mix.
