Two people from Dixon were killed on their motorcycle July 4 on Highway 50 in the Tahoe region when they were struck by a mini van, according to a report in the Lake Tahoe News.
The man and woman from Dixon, whose names were not being released pending notification of relatives, were ejected from their bike and pronounced dead at the scene, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Chris Davis told Lake Tahoe News.
The van driver, a Reno woman, 28, was arrested on charges of suspicion of vehicular homicide and suspected driving while under the influence, according to the news article.
