CA Jacobs Wrestlers at Solano Clash Tournament

Cougar wrestlers with strong showing at Vacaville tournament

Several CA Jacobs wrestlers took home medals at the Solano Clash Tournament at Jepson Middle School in Vacaville on Friday evening.

Leading the way was Valentin Angel who took first place at 168 lbs. Valentin is still undefeated this season.

Angel Figueroa brought home second place at 108 lbs after narrowly losing his match in the finals.

Tyler Boston fought all the way back to a third place finish after losing his first match of the day.

Jean Karlos Morales and Connor Smith just missed the medal rounds after some hard-fought matches in very tough weight classes.

Also wrestling well and earning at least one victory apiece were; Ethan Buford, Ivan Contreras, Chauncy Hall, Mike McCarthy,Tomas Peterson, and Jacob Reger. Jesus Ramirez and Max Trujillo also wrestled.

CA Jacobs is back in action this Wednesday 1/19 with a dual meet against Esparto at CA Jacobs Gym starting at 4pm. The cougars will also be wrestling this Saturday 1/19 at the Bella Vista Tournament in Sacramento.
