Community Update

So I moved here in October of 2013, and was hoping that Dixon had a skatepark. I am a skateboarder, and that's the first thing that comes to mind when I go to a new city or town. When I first went to the park I was excited, then when I got there I was really disappointed. It seems as if whomever built this park did a half-ass job building it. It is absolutely horrible. I've asked many of my skating friends, even professional skateboarders if they would come and skate with me in Dixon, and they all said "No, that park sucks." And it does. I would like to get every skate boarder that lives in Dixon, yes that also includes scooter's and bmx bikers, to all get together and come up with a proposal to either get a new skatepark, expand the current skatepark, or demolish the current one and rebuild the current one. I know of at least 30 people that claim this skatepark sucks and should be removed and replace with a better park.
