Traffic along westbound Highway 80 is backed up in Vacaville due to road maintenance occuring at west 80 and Alamo Drive according to Caltrans.
The work is expected to last until 2:20 p.m., according to Caltrans. Workers have limited traffic to two lanes to allow for the repairs. Anyone traveling along the highway is advised to take an alternate route.
Motorists can skirt the traffic by exiting along Nut Tree Road, taking a left from the exit, traveling down Nut Tree Road and taking a right on Alamo back to the highway or hanging a left at Peabody Road to hit Travis Air Force Base on Airbase Parkway (make a right onto Airbase Parkway and you will get to the freeway).
