Although it may feel as though summer has just begun, the Dixon High Quarter Back Club is gearing up for the 2013 season. Varsity Head Coach, Wes Besseghini, and JV Head Coach Toodie Gomez will host an early parent information night next week with hopes of kick-starting volunteer operations.
“We need parents to get involved in the Quarter Back Club which supports the football program all season long,” says club spokesperson, Kimberly Long, “we are just looking to have each parent of a player to sign up for at least two duties throughout the season to spread the responsibilities and help out.”
Volunteer positions open include snack bar duties at the seven home games, Varsity parents work the JV Game and JV Parents work the Varsity Game, a person to design the programs sold at each home game and as well as multiple fundraising events.
