Maintenance construction specialist needed (Vacaville)

MAINTENANCE/CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST (VACAVILLE)

Perform general construction and maintenance tasks associated with properties, buildings, grounds and facilities

> Needs to have comprehensive understanding of plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry, framing, flooring, and roofing.
> Knowledge and ability to use relevant tools, equipment, and instruments required for construction and maintenance operations.
> Knowledge and ability to perform general construction and maintenance activities, tasks, and procedures.
> Ability to conduct operations safely and follow safety guidelines.
> Ability to assist in organizing, planning, overseeing, and solving problems associated with construction and maintenance projects.
> Assist in scheduling the project in logical steps and budgeting of time to meet deadlines.
> Assist in interpreting and explaining plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, clients, representing the owner.
> Assist in the obtaining of all necessary permits and licenses.
> Assist in ordering and purchasing supplies to complete construction projects.
> Assist in the investigation of damage or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
> Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

Will need your own basic tools and vehicle.
