Rain and the Work Week: A Love Story

The rest of the work week will be flush with rainy weather according to the National Weather Service.

The Weather Service forecasts a 100 percent chance of rain through Wednesday afternoon, tapering off to an 80 percent chance of rain through Friday.

A high wind advisory is also in place until about 5 p.m., today.The National Weatehr Service said southerly winds will reach 25-35 miles per hour with local gusts up to 50 mile per hour. Winds will strengthen early this morning and continue through the afternoon.

The Weather Service urges caution for while driving, especially for high-profile vehicles.

Wednesday Night: Showers. Low around 51. South wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Thursday: Showers. High near 64. South wind between 9 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Friday: Showers. High near 61. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
