The Dixon Lambtown, USA Committee has planned another great Lambtown Festival for your family this year. Explore craft and fiber booths, competitions, and as always, a variety of great food celebrating the lamb industry and the rich agricultural heritage of the region. Come and enjoy tasty lamb dishes and learn to cook lamb at the cooking demonstrations! Watch as sheep shearers remove the entire fleece from lambs in less than a minute at the shearing demonstration. Browse over 100 craft and fiber booths, fine arts show and sale, and merchants who offer special Lambtown products. Visit the wool, mohair and alpaca fleece show and sale, skeins and garments competition and 20 different classes and watch the spinning competitions. See how fleeces are judged for quality, how wool straight from the sheep can be spun and woven into a shawl in only four hours!

Take a class and learn how to spin, dye wool, knit, or how to select a fleece for your next project (a small materials fee and advanced registration are needed for most classes). Enjoy the live entertainment with music from the many cultures who have contributed to the lamb and wool industries in the region.
