Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

A favorite of locals, the Downtown Davis Summer Sidewalk Sale is well into its third decade of providing sizzling deals on fabulous merchandise. With more than fifty businesses participating, this year will be hoppin'. Expect to find great deals on apparel, shoes, accessories, decorative arts, and more!

If you go: The three day sale in downtown Davis starts on Friday.  Click here for a list of participants.

Sunday:

Join Livestrong at Central Park in downtown Davis for a special challenge. Choose from one of several multi-distance bike rides, including a 20-, 45-, 70- or 105-mile option and enjoy a post-event party with your fellow cyclists, family and friends following your ride.

Last year, 1,600 dedicated participants raised over $1.1 million for the fight against cancer. This generous donation will continue to help cancer survivors live life on their own terms and build and support programs and initiatives to help raise awareness of and improve the lives of the 28 million people living with cancer today.

If you go: The bib and packet pick-up begins at 6:30 a.m. while the race starts at 7:30 a.m at Central Park on Fourth Street in Davis. For more information and a schedule of events click here.
