Stevey Mendoza Remembered on Social Media After His Sudden Death
A Facebook page has been created in Stevey Mendoza's memory and many others have shared their kind words since the 13-year-old died suddenly.
13-year-old Dixon boy Stevey Mendoza died suddenly while walking with his friends on the 300 block of C Street last Friday night. The specifics of his death are not yet known, but the town has been in a state of mourning ever since the news broke.
He was remembered in a memorial on the day after his passing. His proper memorial service is scheduled for this Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Dixon Teen Center.
Meanwhile, a Facebook page called R.I.P. Steven Mendoza has been created and many locals and family members have been sharing their kind words. You can read many of them in the Facebook posts and Tweets above.
