13-year-old Dixon boy Stevey Mendoza died suddenly while walking with his friends on the 300 block of C Street last Friday night. The specifics of his death are not yet known, but the town has been in a state of mourning ever since the news broke.
He was remembered in a memorial on the day after his passing. His proper memorial service is scheduled for this Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Dixon Teen Center.
