Details and Detour Routes For This Weekend's I-80 Repairs In Dixon

The California Department of Transportation is performing two-consecutive nights of pavement repair on westbound Interstate 80 in Dixon starting Friday, June 6 at 7 p.m.  

To ensure worker and public safety, the westbound I-80 onramp from Pitt School Road will be closed on Friday, June 6 from 7 p.m. until 10 a.m. the morning of Saturday, June 7. 

The onramp will also be closed on Saturday, June 7 from 8 p.m. until 12 noon on Sunday, June 8.

Motorists are advised to use the following detour during the work. 

Westbound I-80 Pitt School Onramp Detour:

From Pitt School Road take the I-80 overcrossing southbound, then make a right on Stratford Ave, and take the on-ramp onto eastbound I-80. Exit Curry Road. Make a Right onto Curry Road. 

Make a right to take the over pass and take a right to enter the on-ramp onto westbound I-80

Detour signs will also be posted. All work is weather permitting.

Crews are working towards completion of the Vacaville-Dixon I-80 Rehabilitation Project which started last fall. 

Crews have been repairing and paving portions of the roadway which have become worn over time. The entire project could be completed as early this summer. 

Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
