Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at St. Peter Catholic Church

St. Peter Catholic Church's 16th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival is scheduled for Sunday for all to enjoy.

Fabulous food, dancing, face painting and community fellowship will all be a part of annual event.  It will be held at the church on Sunday May 6, starting at noon and continuing until 8 p.m.

The event will feature a taco stand, an enchilada stand, a tamales food booth and a Mexican version of a hamburger.  All will be for sale at the event.  There will also be great games for the kids—fishing games, face painting and even painting contests.

There is no admission to attend the event. Proceeds from the celebration will go to the church and to the Cinco De Mayo committee for good works such as the distribution of scholarships and assistance with people to pay for funeral receptions and for others who may be in need in the church.
