Today (Sunday), the City of Dixon, CA has received several inquiries about water quality in the community.
Upon further investigation it has been determined that a water emergency and boil water order exists in Dixon Missouri, NOT Dixon California.
The City of Dixon is in communication with both Solano Irrigation District and the California Water Service Company.
The City of Dixon California has not had any water main breaks or sewer main breaks and is 100 percent confident in the quality of our water.
The City has taken the extraordinary step of utilizing the reverse 911 system to notify its residents of this mix up in an effort to reassures it citizens.
Again, there is NO water quality emergency in the City of Dixon, California.
