The center will also feature a 'quiet room' where teenagers can do their homework and work on school projects. A group of dedicated volunteers, both teens and adults alike, have helped realize the Teen Center, and fundraising dollars as well as donations have helped fund it. The center has also gained support from the Dixon Police Department, Dixon Unified School District, the City of Dixon and a myriad of community groups and businesses.
Dixon Teen Center is set to open on Jan. 22, with a grand opening celebration.
