As a feminist, I have to say that this young woman's actions are part of the problem with the rapeRead More culture issue. I read the report, and it sounds as if she was very drunk and that, in the beginning, there was mutual consent. She is lucky that she was with men who realized how far gone she was and took her to the hospital. Just because she doesn't remember doesn't mean something did. I will defend a woman all day, but there simply is no evidence that she was raped. The guy isn't always guilty.

Those are fine words Gaia, but this falsely accusing innocent men has got to stop. Thank God forRead More Kaepernick he was rich and famous. I mean what if the guy would have been poor or worse yet, what if a white girl accuses a black guy. Personally this type of behavior; an American Phenomenon, scares the bajesus out of me as a black man. Now that she has done such a dastardly misdeed, my opinion about other cases such as MIke Tyson, Kobe Bryant, Clarence Thomas, even Emmett Till; if I had a little doubt about their innocence (save Emmett Till) it has dissipated and all belief in their innocent has taken its' place

I'm sorry, where in the article does it say she accused anyone of rape? Does it say it in the policeRead More report? I don't know what the TMZ article claimed, but surely the woman in the hospital isn't responsible for what some rag runs, claiming to be the truth. Fact is, none of us except the participants know what happened, and I don't get from what I've read that the woman accused anyone of anything...

With just one more piece (either a top notch hitter or pitcher), the A's are primed to go all theRead More way in 2014. Go A's!
DHS cheer camp 2006
Joshua Middlehaven August 23, 2013 at 08:40 am
When will they have a camp for boys who cheer at girl's sports? Until then you are supporting theRead More continuing role of women to be on the sidelines and cheering for men. Girls, get out and do something useful for yourselves.
Anonymous August 26, 2013 at 10:44 am
Boys are welcome to participate.

God that whole process of getting rid of the Maloofs was agonizing and was within a hair wide of notRead More happening at all. I hope they can quickly get started on the new arena for the dying downtown. It will be a showcase, not just for the Kings, but will be used to bring in the NCAA finals, political conventions, and a whole slew of new events to Sacramento and the region. Since we want to sanitize the race as much as possible and remove any public concern about bombings,Read More we must take the name "Breakers" out of Bay to Breakers. "Breakers" could imply the possibility of someone getting hurt.
Jonathan Koolpe May 2, 2013 at 07:01 pm
Truly, the participants should boycott the race over this asinine backpack ban. I'm not a runner,Read More but I would do so if I had previously had plans to attend this event. But I already boycott doing any business in SF over the unconstitutional red light cameras and the OUTRAGEOUS fines that they have imposed for these pernicious, non-human devices so I guess this is just another reason to not visit SF.
Roberto May 3, 2013 at 01:52 pm
Not a problem, go with pressure cookers! Add a couple back straps and you have a waterproofRead More container that also serves as an ice chest for some snacks, and that cold beer after the race.

I'm not from Sac and I'm die hard Bulls Fan. As an NBA fan I really hope that the commissioner andRead More owners vote on keeping the Kings in Sacramento. It's not the fans fault that Seattle wasn't able to keep their team and also not their fault that their team owners decided not to invest in better players and instead invest in a building casino and resort in Las Vegas which failed and now want the city of sacramento and their community to suffer. Sacramento deserves the kings not Seattle. They can't support all the teams they have now. How are they going to support another team?? Seattle worry about supporting the Mariners when King Felix isn't pitching and the worry about getting an NBA team back to Seattle.

I'm really tired of hearing about all this. Like we're really suppose to care? Kevin Johnson andRead More the Kings need to hop a bus and relocate in Seattle. Adios Muchacos!
