Little People’s Story Time Hatching at Nana’s

Dixon's newest children's boutique will be offering a free story time, to alternate with the library's story time hour, giving children a weekly story.

Preschool-age children are invited to hear stories about spring and enjoy songs and fingerplays at the new children’s boutique in downtown Dixon, ‘Nana and Company.’

The free story time is being coordinated on alternating Wednesdays with the story time to help provide a weekly experience for children, said owner Debra Dingman.

“We have scheduled some guest readers including our Mayor, Jack Batchelor, who really have fun reading to the children and who know how important it is to foster the pleasure of reading in them,” she said.
