One of the many services offered at Dixon Family Services is Homeless and Housing Assistance. The organization is often asked how to access help with rent, mortgage payments, deposits and shelter programs.
Housing programs all have guidelines that must be followed in order to apply. Some clients who do not fit program criteria or have proper verifications get turned down. DFS staff does their best to make a case for the clients but the results are out of DFS hands.
