Last Saturday the Dixon High Cross Country team competed in the annual Lagoon Valley Classic in Vacaville. The DHS Cross Country team is showing great progress with 18 runners medaling and several runners improving their personal best times! “We have 36 runners and all are running well with many placing high individually – along with fantastic placement by our teams. We had 3 teams in the top 4 for three different races” said Coach Crumpacker. Varsity Boys are leading the charge placing 2nd as a team. JV Boys ran a very respectable race placing 3rd behind to much larger schools and Varsity girls placed 4th as a team. Next up for the Rams runners will be the Bret Harte Invite in Angels Camp on September 22nd followed by their first GEL Meet in Dixon on September 26th.
