Dixon May Fair Schedule: Carnival, Livestock Shows, Country Music, Car Show & More

The Dixon May Fair will runs May 9-12.

This year's Dixon May Fair includes a carnival, country music performance, cooking contests, a car show, destruction derby and more. Here's a look at the 2013 Dixon May Fair schedule of events: 

Thursday, May 9
  • Admission: Thrifty Thursday $5 admission for everyone
  • Fair Opens at 4 p.m.

Pre-Fair Opening Livestock Shows:  

  • 9:00 a.m.  - Youth Sheep Show – Sheep Show Ring
  • 10:00 a.m. - Youth Poultry Show – Small Animal Barn

Fair opens at 4 p.m. (opening ceremonies at the main gate)

Friday, May 10
  • Admission: Kid’s Day Free Admission for kid’s 12 and under
  • 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano Counties Canned Food Drive: Bring 2 cans of non-perishable food and receive $2 off one Regular Adult Admission
