On Saturday November 5th, Dixon will host the 10th Annual International Open Knockdown Karate competition at the new Dixon High School. Dixon champions from Ramtown Karate take on an international field of stand-up fighters. Competitors will travel from Mongolia, Sri Lanka, England, and Japan to take part in the competition. US teams from the Bay area, including Gracie and Enshin will be there along with teams from New York, Washington State and Nevada.

A traditional karate tournament will be running all day prior to the knockdown event, including sparring, forms, and weapons competition.
