Dixon Dolphins Swim to the Top, Bringing Home the Championship and Broken Records

Dixon Dolphins win Northern California Motherlode Championships for the 2nd year in a row, breaking competition and team records. List of star swimmers and Facebook reactions included!

The Dixon Dolphins Swim Team came home the 2013 Motherlode Division Champions this past weekend, for the second year in a row.

Competing in a league of six Sacramento Area teams that included the Fair Oaks Dolphins, Carmichael Beavers, Galt Gators and Amador Polar Bears, the Dixon team was ecstatic to earn a first place tie with the West Sacramento Dolphins. Although Dixon won the meet with 1,191.50 points, both teams had 4-1 records at the end of the season causing the tie.
"It is an honor to be a part of the Dixon Dolphins family," Coach Greg Ngo told the Patch, "I am proud of the team's dedication that has led to another successful season."

Here are just a few posts from excited fans on Facebook when the announcement was made Sunday, July 21.
