Tribune: Dixon Unified School District's Superintendent Resigns, Accepts New Job in So Cal

The Dixon Tribune reports that Dixon Unified School District Superintendent resigned from his job in Dixon to accept a new one in Southern California

After serving as superintendent for the past three years, Roger Halberg has resigned from his position, the reports.

During last night's meeting of the , the board announced that Halberg submitted his resignation and that the board accepted it during a closed-session meeting before the beginning of Thursday's meeting.

Halberg is in the process of finalizing a new contract for a position he accepted as a superintendent for a school district in Southern California. Halberg's last day in Dixon will depend on when the contract for his new job is finalized, according to the Tribune.
