The ceremony was held inside Dixon High's gymnasium during halftime of the Rams' basketball game against Capital Christian.
The crowning of the kind and queen, Jose Soto and Aimee Carrazco, along with their royalty court and the freshmen, sophomore and junior princes and princesses was held during the midway point of Sweethearts Spirit Week at DHS. All throughout the week, students got into the spirit of things by participating in Stoplight Day, Disney Day, Opposite Sex Day and Superhero Day.
The final event of the spirit week took place on Friday, Feb. 10, as the school came together for a rally and enjoyed a dance on Friday evening.
