Dixon High School's interim principal could soon get a more permanent job.
The school has been overseen by acting Principal Nick Girimonte since the start of this school year, following previous Principal John Barsotti's dismissal.
The Dixon Unified School District Governing Board this week will discuss Girimonte's possible appointment as principal.
"Mr. Girmonte has proven himself to be a very capable principal and he has a large amount of support from students, parents, and staff," a staff report for this week's meeting states.
