CA Jacobs Boys Beat Davis Cross Country Teams at Thursday Meet (PHOTOS)

"Work hard and be nice to other people and everything will fall into place," is CA Jacobs cross country Coach Greg Nyo's pre-race message this past Thursday afternoon.

The CA Jacobs Cougars ran their second cross country meet of the season Thursday afternoon against Emerson and Holmes Middle Schools in Davis. The boys team won 33-52-54 (CAJ/Holmes/Emerson).

Coach Greg Nyo gave the team a heart felt pep-talk pre-race starting with, "You guys are a team; work hard and be nice to other people and everything will fall into place. This is going to be a race; you're going to have to race, but you can do this. This is your first real test, Holmes is our big competitors."

He was right, the girls ran a close race, loosing by just two points to Homles Middle School, 34-36-63 (Holmes/CAJ/Emerson).
