SLOW DOWN!!! CONSTRUCTION ZONE!!!!

  Every morning on the way to taking Lex to school I pass a construction zone. This particular zone they have been working on for over 6 months. But yesterday as I passed the construction zone God spoke to me. He put a vision in my head.
   It almost seemed as if time slowed down. Cars passing to the left going in the opposite direction seemed to be going super slow. People walking on the sidewalk seemed to be walking in a slow zombie like state. And standing at the entrance to the construction zone was Jesus holding a sign that said Slow Down.
   Slow down Vanessa. Everyday you pass by the construction zone I am building in your life. You are trying to hard to do the "right" thing to get to the finish line. The cutting of the ribbon. The grand opening. But you are forgetting the most important part. The construction. I am working in you. And you are doing great things. But you are missing some of the most important parts. I have set the foundation in your life but I need you to slow down as I help build up the walls. I love you and have great purpose for you. So slow down and enjoy this great work, this awesome construction zone, that I am building in you.
   Just as He challenged me, I am challenging you. Slow Down and admire the construction zone God is doing in you. What may look like a pile of dirt or just a bunch of would slabs, is actually a beautiful thing. And one day will be a majestic building that Christ has built in you. So again slow down, watch, learn and listen to what He has in store for you
