Chamber Hosts State of the City Feb. 21

The event is set to begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Olde Vets Hall.

The Dixon Chamber of Commerce will host the annual State of the City Address Thursday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 a.m.

The Chamber released the following statement about the event:

The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Dixon District Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of the City Address on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 7:30 a.m. at the New Location. The Olde Vets Hall located at 231 N. First Street (next to Archer Plaza).

Speakers include Mayor Jack Batchelor Jr.; City Manager Jim Lindley; Chief of Police Jon Cox; Community Development Director Dave Dowswell; Dixon Fire Chief Aaron McAlister; Dixon Unified School District Superintendent Brian Dolan.

The State of the City Address will be catered by Buds Pub & Grill. Breakfast includes bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, pastries, coffee, tea and juice.  The cost to attend this event is $20 per person and is payable in advance to the Dixon Chamber of Commerce.  The deadline to register is Tuesday, February 19th, 2013.
