Reporter: Solano Board of Supes Vote to Redistrict Dixon to District 4
The Vacaville Reporter reports that the Solano County Board of Supervisors voted in favor of a proposed redistricting plan that calls for Dixon to be moved to District 4.
The Vacaville Reporter reports that the Solano County Board of Supervisors voted in favor of a redistricting plan Wednesday that would move Dixon from District 5, represented by Supervisor Mike Reagan, to District 4, managed by Supervisor John Vazquez.
The move means that Dixon voters will not have the opportunity to vote for their next supervisor for another two years, according to the Vacaville Reporter's story.
On July 26, a resolution to adopt the new map will be introduced to the board with approval to take place on Aug. 9.
