Jameson Canyon Lane Closures Starting Tonight

Lane closures occur from tonight until Saturday.

Information from Caltrans:

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the Solano Transportation Authority (STA), and the Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA) are continuing the placement of safety barriers and
completing the final phase of storm drain work.

The work is in preparation of widening Highway 12 through Jameson Canyon in Napa and Solano Counties.

To ensure worker and public safety, four nights of overnight intermittent lane closures are scheduled to start beginning Tuesday, May 29th at 10 p.m. and be completed on Saturday, June 2nd at 6 a.m. All work is weather permitting.
Lane Closure Times and Locations During intermittent lane closures, one lane of traffic on Highway 12-Jameson Canyon Road will remain open while the other lane of traffic will be closed between Highway 29 and the Napa/Solano County Line.

The lane closures will start on Tuesday, May 29th at 10 p.m. and conclude on Saturday, June 2nd at 6 a.m. From Tuesday, May 29th until Thursday, May 31st, the closures are scheduled to start at 10 p.m. each night and conclude each morning at 5 a.m. On Friday June 1st, the lane closures will start at 11p.m. and conclude the morning of Saturday June 2nd at 6 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will help direct motorists during the closures. Caltrans will also install changeable message signs. Motorists should allow for extra travel time.
