Halloween Happenings in Dixon

Lots to do about town for Halloween family fun.

Plenty of Spooktactular fun in Dixon Wednesday, with lots of safe ways to entertain your kids on a mid-week day that many have off of school.

Downtown Dixon has prepared their annual trick-or-treat streets from 1:30-4 p.m. 41 merchants, along with City Hall, the Police Station and the Library will hand out candy to kids, and parents can browse local shops for goodies for themselves. Click here for the map and full list of participating merchants.

Dr. Kristina Wiley has set up a haunted house welcoming guests with free admission from 3-7 p.m. into the restored Historic Fire Station on North Jackson Street.

As you pursue the streets after dark, don't miss 320 Rennert Way, cross of Rehramann Drive in the Richmond American home area. Rumored to have fortune telling and maybe even hot chocolate, this house was a big hit last year and has prepared quite the ghostly display for trick-or-treating.

Feeding your little goblins will be easy and entertaining with the $7 Jack-O-Lantern Pizza from Papa Murphey's on East Dorset Lane. Pick one up early, and pop it in the oven at your convenience for a pre, or post, candy meal. Click here for the printable coupon.
