According to the city of Dixon:
"A PG&E transformer located near the intersection of First and A Streets failed on [Wednesday], causing a power outage in downtown Dixon and the adjacent residential neighborhood."
PG&E said the power would likely be restored by 6 p.m. An employee at verified that power did indeed come back around that time.
