Dixon Gets its Own Airplane

Travis Air Force Base recently honored Dixon and other Solano County cities by naming a C-5 Airplane after the cities.

Colonel  John Flournoy, Air Force Reserve, presenting Mayor Jack Batchelor with a statue of a C-5 wing.  Each city in Solano County was recently honored at Travis Air Force Base by having a C-5 named after their city.  Colonel Flourrnoy gave a 20 minute talk at the Dixon Rotary club's meeting on the valuable service provided by the Air Force Reserves.
