City Revamps Recognition Award Program, Nominate Your Favorite City Employee

City of Dixon employees are working hard all over town. Nominate ones you think earned a pat on the back

The City of Dixon is updating its employee recognition program, offering community members the opportunity to nominate city workers for a job well done.

City employees are not only are they handling city affairs, but they are keeping our trees trimmed, parks nice, streets maintained, and teaching recreation classes. They are firefighters, police and administrators. They keep the community and it's records maintained.

“The success of City government in providing services to meet the needs of the City of Dixon and its citizens is largely dependent on the efforts of the City employees. It is important for the City to involve members of the public, employees, volunteers, contract employees, appointed and elected officials in continuous improvement of City services by recognizing excellent work,” said City Manager Jim Lindley in a press release.
