City Receives Award for its Annual Financial Report

The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to the City of Dixon by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. “The City Council has placed a strong emphasis on fiscal stability and ensuring the City has timely, accurate and transparent financial statements reinforces that goal. I am extremely grateful for the hard work of Nancy Huston, City Manager, Jeremy Craig, Director of Finance and Technology, and the entire Finance Staff for their hard work and dedication in developing award winning financial statements,” noted Mayor Jack Batchelor.
