Attention, Residents: Dixon Parks Master Plan Workshop Is July 1

Workshop consists of a tour of three parks to review park maintenance and facility use issues at each location. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to each park site.

Starting Location: Women’s Improvement Club Park, located at North First Street at East C Street starting at 5:30 p.m.

Second Location: Veterans Park, Valley Glen Dr., estimated time of arrival 5:50-6 p.m.

Final Location: Hall Park, 600 East A Street, estimated time of arrival 6:30 p.m.

At the completion of the tour, all members of the public are invited to attend the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting in the City Council Chambers where the Parks Master Plan Update will be discussed.

Second workshop scheduled for August 5, 2014, to tour remaining park sites
