Vacaville Teen Suspected of Robbing Cell Phone Store

The Vacaville Police Department arrested an 18-year-old boy in connection with a cell hpone store robbery.

An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection to a cellphone store robbery Thursday afternoon in Vacaville, police said.

Police received a call around 12:45 p.m. about an armed robbery at the MetroPCS store at 1017 Alamo Drive, police said. Arriving officers searched the area for the man believed to have held up the store at gunpoint.

The suspect, Robert Edwards of Vacaville, was found in the area and arrested on suspicion of the armed robbery, police said. Police also recovered a replica gun and an undisclosed amount of cash in the area.
