A 16-year-old driver got quite a scare when her truck burst into flames Saturday. A local resident captured a photo for Patch.

A 16-year old driver got a scare this weekend, when her truck burst into flames.

Around 1:40 p.m. Saturday afternoon, Dixon Fire responded to a vehicle on fire at the intersection of Parkgreen Dr. and Stratford Ave.

The driver reported that her F-150 truck had stalled, and when she hopped out to look, she saw flames and called 911. She also told firemen that she had been having electrical problems with it.

A passing resident, Glenn, captured this photo and sent it to Dixon Patch.
