Solano Sheriff's Office Says Man Kills Woman and Shoots Self in Vehicle
Two Fairfield residents lose their lives in apparent murder-suicide

The Solano County Sheriff's Office reported a murder-suicide in the 3400 block of Chadbourne Road in Fairfield Thursday night.
The sheriff's office received a report at 5:35 p.m. of a disturbance between two people that involved a gun in a white Cadillac, Lt. Gary Faulkner said. Deputies and the California Highway Patrol found the Cadillac driving south on Chadbourne Road from Cordelia Road, Faulkner said.

As officers positioned their vehicles to stop the Cadillac and contact the occupants, they heard a gunshot and saw a muzzle flash inside the vehicle, Faulkner said.
Seconds later there was another gunshot and a muzzle flash and the vehicle slowly rolled to a stop on Chadbourne Road, Faulkner said. Officers found a deceased couple inside the vehicle and recovered a firearm from 35-year-old Enrique Preciado.

The other victim was identified as 25-year-old Erica Dominguez. Both are from Fairfield, Faulkner said. Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
