A Shingle Springs man was found dead inside an RV/van that was parked at Wal-Mart this afternoon.
Dixon police officers, along with the fire department, responded to the parking lot of around 3:30 p.m., in response to a call they received from the sister of the man.
Upon arrival, the officers found 42-year-old Charles Gardner dead inside the vehicle, Dixon Police Sgt. Loren Ellefson said.
“It sounds like he had a lot of health problems,” Ellefson said, adding that there is nothing suspicious about the death.
The Solano County Sheriff Coroner’s office also responded to the scene. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
