Parolee at Large in City of Dixon

Brendan Shane Sirca, 36, is considered dangerous and is armed with an ax.

Dixon police and other law enforcement agencies searched without success Thursday night for parolee Brendan Shane Sirca, 36, according to officers.

At about 9:30 p.m., the Dixon Police Department was called to the 200 block of East D Street where Sirca, who is wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants for violation of parole, was reportedly swinging a small ax, police said.

Sirca fled the area on foot, and Dixon officers, with the assistance of a Solano County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and a California Highway Patrol helicopter, searched for him with negative results and he is still outstanding, said the department.

No injuries resulted from this incident.

Sirca is described as Hispanic, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, and last seen wearing a black ball cap, white and black shirt, and blue jeans.

He is heavily tattooed and has a goatee. He also had in his possession a black backpack and a small ax, and is considered dangerous, police said.

Anyone with information related to Sirca or his whereabouts is asked to not contact him, but to telephone Dixon Police at (707) 678-7080 or your local law enforcement agency.
