UPDATE: Highway Reopened in Fairfield After Big-Rig Accident Caused Three-Hour Shutdown
Overturned big-rig had lanes closed on I-80 and 680 in Fairfield for more than three hours in the middle of the day.

The two right lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 80 and both lanes of the northbound Interstate Highway 680 connector to westbound I-80 in Fairfield have reopened following a big-rig accident.
The big-rig, which was hauling produce, overturned around 9:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the big-rig was injured and taken to a hospital, CHP Officer Ron Simmons said.
All lane in the area eventually reopened around 1 p.m., Caltrans officials said.

The two right lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 80 and both lanes of the northbound Interstate Highway 680 connector ramp to westbound Highway 80 in Fairfield are expected to be closed until this afternoon because of an overturned big-rig, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The highway lanes and connector ramp are expected to be closed until 3 p.m., according to the CHP.
