A Vacaville man who is in Solano County Jail for the attempted shooting murder of two Fairfield men earlier this month faces extradition to Lexington County in South Carolina, where he is suspected of a murder and attempted murder in April.
Vacaville resident Terry McClure, 26, was arrested Thursday and Deonta King, 28, of Dixon, was arrested Friday and booked into the Solano County Jail for allegedly shooting a 27-year-old man in the hip and hand, and a 29-year-old man in the torso in the vicinity of Willow Lane and Balsam Court in Fairfield on May 1.

Both victims survived their injuries. McClure is also wanted in South Carolina's Lexington County for the murder of Tycus Toland, 29, and the attempted murder of Vonkeith Toland, 33, on April 26.
The Toland brothers were shot in front of Vonkeith Toland's home on Bushberry Road in Pelion, South Carolina, said Major John Allard of the Lexington County Sheriff's Department. McClure and an acquaintance, identified as 22-year-old Justin Butler, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, arranged to buy a vehicle that Vonkeith Toland advertised on Craigslist, Allard said.

Tycus Toland was shot in the upper torso and found dead in the front yard of his brother's home, Allard said. Vonkeith Toland also was shot in the torso and was taken to a hospital, Allard said. Butler and McClure also broke into Vonkeith Toland's home, and both face a first-degree burglary charge, Allard said.
Witnesses said the suspects were a heavy-set African-American male with short dreadlock hair braids and a taller, thin African-American male with closely cropped hair, Allard said.
The shooting suspects fled the scene in a light blue or silver SUV that was not the vehicle for sale. The motive and circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation, Allard said today.
The Lexington County Sheriff's Department determined there was a possible connection between the shooting in Fairfield and the murder and attempted murder in South Carolina. Deputies contacted the Fairfield Police Department and asked for assistance, Fairfield police Lt. Stephen Crane said.
During the first week in May, Fairfield police helped Lexington County authorities identify the Tolands' murder and attempted murder suspect as Butler, who has an extensive criminal history in Fairfield, Crane said.
Butler was arrested Friday in Alabama, Crane said. Fairfield police also helped Lexington County authorities identify McClure as the second Tolands' murder and attempted murder suspect, and the Lexington County Sheriff's Department got arrest warrants for McClure on Saturday, Crane said.
Solano County sheriff's Deputy Jackson Harris said McClure is still at Solano County Jail, and that South Carolina authorities have not yet submitted paperwork to extradite him to Lexington County.
Allard said the Lexington County Sheriff's Department has a detainer on McClure in the event that his release from the Solano County Jail is imminent.
