Fairfield Police Responding to Officer-Involved Shooting

The shooting is reported in the 700 block of Gold Coast Drive.

Police are responding to an officer-involved shooting in Fairfield this evening.

The shooting occurred in the 700 block of Gold Coast Drive, near Dover Avenue, Fairfield police Officer Cleo Mayoral said.

Mayoral said no officers were injured and a suspect was shot. The suspect's condition was not immediately known.

No information regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting was immediately available.
